Leicestershire and Rutland have a great diversity of restaurants, from some of the best curry houses in the UK in City of Leicester, to the more quietly, secluded rural eateries, we have restaurants to satisfy every taste. Leicestershire produces many fine Ales, the small but perfectly formed, Parish Brewery brewing the strongest Ale in Britain, plus many other local brewers of original ales, Fruity Cordials, Fresh Swithland Spring Water straight from the ancient underground source in the Charnwood Hills, English Wine from local producers here in Leicestershire. Hedgerow wild fruits go into the making of Melton Sloe Gin, and Fresh Fruit Cordials and Presse drinks freshly made here in the Vale of Belvoir, and then onward to such outlets as the Ritz Hotel in Piccadilly, and Harvey Nicolls, and Selfridges, London.
